Over 25 Companies Join Oracle PartnerNetwork In Bangladesh

Dhaka, Bangladesh (AHN) - More than 25 Bangladeshi IT companies have joined Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN) to offer innovative IT solutions to local companies in the telecom, financial services, manufacturing and government sectors.

Oracle, which has more than 20,000 OPN members globally, will be welcoming more than 28 companies to OPN Days, a partner-focused event scheduled to take place in the capital, Dhaka on Sunday, organizers said on Saturday.

Joint customers include Square Pharmaceuticals Limited (Bangladesh), Heidelberg Cement, BOC Bangladesh, Reliance Insurance, Dhaka Bank Limited, Grameenphone, Banglalink, United Commercial Bank Limited and Election Commission Secretariat.

At the event, Oracle will highlight its initiatives and channel strategies that will help partners grow their business and capabilities.

They will also showcase how independent software vendors (ISV's), system integrators, resellers and platform partners can take advantage of Oracle's expanded product portfolio across Database, Middleware and Applications to provide comprehensive IT solutions to their customers in Bangladesh.

Oracle has been operating in Bangladesh since 1999 though a local partner. Oracle's commitment extends to its extensive network of alliances, channel partners and resellers in Bangladesh, who are members of the Oracle PartnerNetwork.

Bangladesh is one of the countries in Oracle's SAGE (South Asia Growth Economies) West region, others being Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Nepal.
